The Alpha Tau Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. located at Jackson State Univeristy,
was organized April 14, 1941 by Soror Ruby Peake Watts Hall. At this time, the Alpha Tau Chapter became the first
sorority to be founded on the campus of Jackson State College!
